The DoD Cyber Crime Center (DC3) is proud to announce the winning teams for the 2012 DC3 Digital Forensics Challenge, our 7th annual competition. The 2012 DC3 Digital Forensics Challenge saw a great year for participation from 1,209 teams from 49 US states and 53 countries. We received 1,356 exercise submissions, a dramatic increase from 850 submissions last year. This year the US has taken seven of the top ten spots!

The US really stepped it up this year, earning the number one spot in this year's DC3 Digital Forensics Challenge! Northrop Grumman, a team of four commercial members, leads the pack earning more than 1,300 points over their competitors. Team CDoman, hailing from the United Kingdom, took 2nd place in the entire competition world-wide with only one team member! Congratulations to all the winners; this was a very exciting year!
