Security Lags in Enterprise Cloud Migration
Cloud security is falling farther behind as companies migrate more and more of their workloads to public cloud infrastructures.

Data and application migration to the cloud continues to build. Cloud security? Not so much, according to a new report on cloud adoption out today.
The 2018 Cloud Adoption Report, released by Bitglass, is based on a study of more than 135,000 companies' cloud adoption. The study found that while cloud adoption has moved beyond 81%, only 25% of companies have implemented single sign-on for user authentication.
In terms of cloud applications, more than half the organizations studied (56.3%) have moved to Office 365, while 24.8% are using Google G-Suite. And the office productivity suites aren't the only public cloud applications companies are flocking to: Slack is the collaboration software of choice for more than 40% of companies.
