Izecom Debuts Blackberry Reader
Izecom introduces free Izemail reader for Blackberry at RSA conference
SUNNYVALE, Calif. -- Email encryption company Izecom has announced today that they will make available a free reader version of their IZEMAIL S/MIME based email encryption product for BlackBerry.
Email encryption is becoming a concern for companies that want to keep their information confidential. Compliance regulations may also require that corporations encrypt their email. As an increasing number of employees use their BlackBerry(r) handset as their primary email device, the ability to read encrypted email should not stop at the desktop, laptop or at the server and should be available on your handheld too. Izecom has developed a version of their S/MIME based email encryption software for emails received on a BlackBerry handset. Using the IZEMAIL reader for BlackBerry, customers will be able to read S/MIME encrypted email that they receive on their handsets. The IZEMAIL reader allows for automatic decryption of messages on the BlackBerry handset itself.
Depending on the server environment that is used, the sender will also need to either use Izemail for encryption or make a small alteration in their mail server configuration to allow them to send S/MIME encrypted emails to BlackBerry users.
