PRESS RELEASE
April 24, 2015 – LOGbinder ™ announced significant updates to LOGbinder for Exchange and LOGbinder for SQL Server during the RSA Conference 2015. LOGbinder for Exchange, version 3.0 now allows customers to manage mailbox audit policy from inside the LOGbinder application. LOGbinder for SQL Server, now at version 2.5, adds events to support Microsoft SQL Server 2014 and introduces LEEF output. The products were formerly branded as LOGbinder EX and LOGbinder SQL, respectively. LOGbinder for SharePoint (formerly LOGbinder SP) was also updated to version 5.1 with performance and methodology enhancements of benefit in particularly large SharePoint environments.
“When someone’s job changes, the mailbox audit policy will automatically adjust when using LOGbinder for Exchange 3.0, which is a huge benefit to security analysts,” said Randy Franklin Smith, LOGbinder CTO. “Exchange mailbox audit policy configuration has been a major headache over the years. Security analysts have had to be PowerShell experts to set the right audit policy on each mailbox, which is almost impossible to do manually. Now, LOGbinder for Exchange customers can set mailbox audit policy by group or Organizational Unit from within the application. Our customers can be sure of having the right audit policy on each person.”
LOGbinder software offers the only solution for collecting security log data from inside mission critical Exchange, SharePoint and SQL Server applications into SIEM log management deployments.
LOGbinder continues to devote extensive resources for software development. LOGbinder software improvements have kept pace with advancing security audit demand. The software is routinely updated based on customer feedback. These most recent updates are in response to customer feedback. The last major updates were released August 2014.
