PRESS RELEASE

NEW YORK, NY (March 30, 2010) " Today Voxel dot Net, a leading global cloud computing, managed services and CDN (Content Delivery Network) provider, announced the immediate availability of Private VoxCLOUD, a turn-key platform that allows customers to deploy fully supported private clouds in their own datacenters.

Private VoxCLOUD is built on the same battle-proven technology that runs Voxel's public cloud deployments in New York, Amsterdam, and Singapore, and it features comprehensive APIs, deep reporting options and instant deployment of physical and virtual infrastructure. As an added benefit, the solution offers the flexibility to move applications between a Private VoxCLOUD installation and public VoxCLOUD resources.

"The fact is that a lot of organizations and enterprises are very attracted to the benefits and the service delivery model of the cloud, but they are not comfortable with the public cloud," said Raj Dutt, founder and CEO of Voxel. "With Private VoxCLOUD, customers now have a cost-effective and feature-comparable way to realize these advantages, while using their own infrastructure and retaining the control over their own datacenter and equipment."

VoxCLOUD provides deployment and management of both physical and virtual servers, across multiple locations, all over a single API and management console. Additionally, through its powerful reporting interfaces, the product supports departmental chargeback of resources, allowing for exact assignment of costs and resource allocations over time.

VoxCLOUD is the only completely turnkey cloud platform that is available for hybrid private and public deployments and is fully supported by a single vendor.

Built on a reference platform of switches from Arista Networks and blade servers from Dell, the solution offers 10G-to-the-host and over 400 of the latest Intel Nehalem cores per rack.

Private VoxCLOUD is available immediately and deployment options range from fully pre-configured racks to a custom on-site implementation by Voxel.
