"Today's most advanced threats are incredibly adept at bypassing prevention. They pose a major risk to our critical infrastructure including financial services, energy, manufacturing, defense, and IT systems," said Bhalotra. "Damballa has one of the most highly regarded technologies to discover hidden threats, and I look forward to working with the team to expand their reach."
"Sameer has dedicated his career to cybersecurity, leading development of policy and legislation to protect critical infrastructure and government networks, including the first-ever national code of conduct for Internet companies to mitigate botnet infections," said David Scholtz, CEO of Damballa. "His background is truly unique in its breadth of experience, ranging from academic to government to IT infrastructure to startups. We are honored to have him on our board of advisors.
