Symantec announced the signing of a multi-year extension to its existing contract with HP, the worldwide PC sales leader
CUPERTINO, Calif. -- Symantec Corp. (Nasdaq: SYMC) today announced the signing of a multi-year extension to its existing contract with HP, the worldwide PC sales leader. Under the terms of the new agreement, HP consumer desktop and notebook PCs will be shipped with a 60-day version of Norton Internet Security, the award-winning security suite that delivers protection against the latest online threats, such as spyware, viruses, worms and hackers. Consumers who purchase an HP desktop or notebook PC will have easy access to the leading Internet security solutions on their desktop.
