PRESS RELEASE

Palo Alto, CA – November 15, 2018 – Nok Nok Labs (Nok Nok), the trusted leader in next-generation authentication, today announced its latest version of the Nok Nok™ S3 Authentication Suite (Nok Nok S3 Suite) will be one of the first to integrate multiple authentication and ID Proofing methods for account setup and account recovery. The Nok Nok S3 Suite enables customers to save time and money by choosing different account recovery methods and applying them in a context sensitive manner using dynamic policies to a global user community, all from one platform. The latest version of the Nok Nok S3 Suite now addresses the complete lifecycle of authentication while delivering a simple, secure and scalable solution to end users.

Today, more than 80 percent of mobile users typically require password reset (or account recovery) when using traditional username and passwords. Enterprise customers using the Nok Nok S3 Suite will be able to substantially reduce the need to address account recovery issues with their end users.

Global organizations need to scale to meet the needs and security regulations of their millions of users in different regions of the world and that often means implementing various recovery methods, changing policies and adding ID Proofing solutions. With the Nok Nok S3 Suite, organizations can support relevant remote policies for strong recovery and provide better protection to their customers by combining different recovery procedures such as ID Proofing and other account recovery methods. The new version brings support for the following initial account recovery integrations: Email-OTP, SMS-OTP, and Selfie+Picture ID Validation.

“Nok Nok Labs has been at the forefront of addressing the authentication needs of global organizations for years, and strong authentication requires strong account recovery,” said Naga Nagarajan, Vice President of Engineering of Nok Nok Labs. “Today’s announcement is another step towards meeting the security needs of our customers and their end users, so they can focus on delivering their vital services without having to worry about passwords or the possibility of sensitive information being hacked or stolen.”

This new version of the Nok Nok S3 Suite will be available in December 2018.
