PRESS RELEASE

September 4, 2009 - During the months of September and October, TrustPort will introduce new versions of its security products. The first being introduced are mobile data protection solutions TrustPort USB Antivirus 2010, and TrustPort U3 Antivirus 2010. In addition, two other language versions of TrustPort new web portal will also be released. As from September, this portal will also be available in Spanish and German, adding to the existing Czech and English languages.

TrustPort USB Antivirus and TrustPort U3 Antivirus have drawn a lot of attention since their release in January this year. Both solutions serve the needs of users who work on several computers during the day, for example at work and at home, and who keep their data stored on portable storage media. TrustPort in this case used a new concept in security; mentioned products do not need to be installed on the hard drive, but are installed directly on the storage media, i.e. USB flash drive or U3 smart drive.

TrustPort USB Antivirus 2010 and TrustPort U3 Antivirus 2010, just as the previous versions, provide complete security for the storage medium against viruses and spyware. The program will not allow any malicious codes to be copied to the flash disk, meaning inadvertent spreading of viruses to other computers that the user works on is stopped. With a simple click of the mouse, antivirus scanning of the current computer's hard drive can be launched. However in the new version, data security is taken a step further.

Data is not only protected against damage from viruses and spyware, but also from their reading by unauthorized persons. For this purpose, there is the added encryption module, which stores sensitive data in the form of encrypted archives. This eliminates the risk of data theft for example during the loss of a flash drive. In addition, the new version also includes a shredding module, which allows the irreversible deletion of disused but still sensitive data. For the same unbeatable price, the customers previously paid just for the antivirus module, they now receive a product with an antivirus, encryption and shredding module.

Transferring data and applications from one computer to another through a flash drive is a standard practice today. Unfortunately, most used flash drives are not secure. Their users do not consider the case that the flash drive can be lost or stolen, and that their data can get into the wrong hands. With the product TrustPort USB Antivirus 2010 or TrustPort U3 Antivirus 2010, these worries are taken away.

As of July, TrustPort has a new web portal in both the English and Czech languages. As of September, the Spanish and German versions become also operational. Localization into Spanish and German includes all sections of the portal - product pages, electronic store, support pages, company presentation pages, partner program pages, and more. TrustPort software is available in English, Czech, Spanish, German, and Italian.
