Radware announced the immediate protection against the W32.Rahack.W worm

MAHWAH, N.J. -- Radware (NASDAQ: RDWR), the leading provider of intelligent integrated solutions for ensuring the fast, reliable and secure delivery of networked and Web-enabled applications over IP, today announced the immediate protection against the W32.Rahack.W worm.
W32.Rahack.W is a polymorphic worm that propagates on computers running Radmin software by exploiting weak passwords to connect to the Radmin server. The worm targets Windows-based computers operating Windows 2000, Windows 95, Windows ME, Windows NT, Windows Server 2003 and Windows XP, beginning with one system and propagating executable code via ports 80, 143, 139, 445 and 9988 (the Radmin service). Radware protects against the worm via the patented adaptive behavioral-based technology featured across its DefensePro Intrusion Prevention System (IPS).
