Kaspersky Lab has announced the creation of an international board of directors

WOBURN, Mass. -- Kaspersky Lab, a leading developer of Internet threat management solutions that protect against viruses, spyware, hackers and spam, has announced the creation of a new Board of Directors. Responding to the rapid worldwide growth of the Company, the new Board has been shaped to have a broad representation from the Company's expanding world markets.

The new Board will consist of nine members including shareholders and key Kaspersky Lab executives from around the globe. Natalya Kaspersky will assume the role of Chairman of the Board and Eugene Kaspersky has been appointed CEO. Other members of the board include Alexey De Mont De Rique, Vitaly Bezrodnykh, Evgeny Buyakin, Garry Kondakov, Andreas Lamm, Stephen Orenberg, and Harry Cheung.

"Kaspersky Lab is emerging as an important player in the IT security market in the United States. Introducing top executives from our key local markets to the Board reflects an important milestone as we set forth to meet the needs of our customers around the globe."
