Zvetco Biometrics today announced a new Panel-mount version of it's Verifi P4000 fingerprint reader
ORLANDO, Fla. -- Best-in-class fingerprint authentication hardware manufacturer and network security solution provider Zvetco Biometrics today announced a new Panel-mount version of it's Verifi(TM) P4000 fingerprint reader. The rugged and waterproof Verifi P4000 Panel Mount fingerprint reader can be mounted on any flat panel, with no cable in sight. Like the P4000, it enables positive user authentication and access control with a single finger touch. Designed for reliability and performance, the P4000 Panel Mount withstands the rigors of high volume use, heavy cleaning or exposure to the elements, and tamper-resistance.
"Fingerprint scanners' unique ability to provide the strongest security in such a user friendly and convenient manner is driving biometric adoption in a range of new markets," said Zavi Cohen, CEO of Zvetco Biometrics. "The new Verifi P4000 Panel Mount reader is a natural fit for point of sale and physical access control. It's been specifically designed to meet customer demand addressing the unique new challenges of building biometrics into kiosks, bank machines, consumer checkout devices and more."
The Verifi P4000 Panel Mount is meant for installations in a fixed location and is hardwired for anti-theft protection. It features a rugged commercial-grade aluminum housing and waterproof design, with internal construction proven to withstand the unforgiving wear-and-tear typical of demanding environments, maintaining reliability even with repeated stressful use. It includes the most advanced sensor technology to prevent spoofing and read even the most difficult fingers. The P4000 can not be fooled by fingerprint copies, latent images, gummy fingers or finger castings, and has built-in security measures that make it practically impossible to hack.
Zvetco Biometrics' new high-performance panel mount fingerprint reader offers versatile solution for partners. Machine designers, kiosk makers, OEM partners, resellers and integrators all need a more flexible solution to incorporate the power of biometric security into today's new generation of computing devices.
