PRESS RELEASE

ATLANTA, Aug. 26 /PRNewswire/ -- WiKID Systems, Inc. (http://www.wikidsystems.com) announces the release of Version 3.4 of the WiKID Strong Authentication Server in Enterprise and Community Editions. New features include built-in support for the SAML Single Sign-On Service for Google Apps, a new self-registration process for Active Directory users and extended vendor-specific RADIUS attributes. Additionally, WiKID has released an iPhone token client, a VMware version of the Community Edition Server and a new OpenID service.

The WiKID Strong Authentication System is a dual-source two-factor authentication system that combines strong asymmetric encryption with Blackberry smart phones, J2ME devices, Windows Mobile devices - and now iPhones and iPod Touches - as well as Windows, Linux and Apple OSX computers to create a secure, highly scalable and flexible one-time password system. Pricing for the Enterprise version starts at only $240 per year for 10 users. The Community version has had over 35,000 downloads from SourceForge, and the WiKID iPhone Software Token is available for free on the iTunes App Store.

The VMware version of the WiKID Strong Authentication Community Edition Server was made possible by improvements to the OpenJDK. "We hope that making it even easier to implement two-factor authentication will encourage more developers and systems administrators to reconsider static passwords," said WiKID CEO Nick Owen. Toward that same end, WiKID has launched http://wikid.com as a free OpenID service that uses WiKID Strong Authentication. "Federation is great, but you create a 'keys to the kingdom' problem. WiKID's single-token, multi-domain authentication solves this," stated WiKID CTO Eric Shoemaker.

WiKID has added support for SAML Single Sign-On Service for Google Apps, allowing users of the Enterprise Google Apps for your Domain to log in using one-time passcodes from WiKID. As more companies utilize cloud services and hosted applications, they need to control access to those applications. After many customer requests, WiKID now has an easier mechanism to add new users based on Active Directory credentials and vendor-specific RADIUS attributes, allowing users to be grouped as webvpn users for Cisco SSL VPNs, for example.

Companies seeking to reign in IT costs have focused on switching from expensive hardware tokens to the lower-cost software tokens of WiKID. WiKID combines the best aspects of an open-source project with the full support of an enterprise solution. Download, Test and Buy Online.

WiKID Enterprise Edition is available for download (http://www.wikidsystems.com/downloads/how-to-test-and-get-wikid) as a 30-day free trial.
