Webcast: Straight Talk on Web 2.0 Security

Secure Computing Webinar looks at the results of a study on the state of Web 2.0 security, emerging threats, and a guide to best practices

SAN JOSE, Calif. -- A recent commissioned study conducted by Forrester Research on behalf of Secure Computing titled Internet Risk Management In The Web 2.0 World found a noticeable discrepancy between the amount of concern over security threats, and how well prepared businesses actually are—-or even perceive themselves to be. While nearly 97 percent of those surveyed consider themselves prepared for Web-borne threats, 79 percent reported more than infrequent occurrences of malware, with viruses and spyware being the leading issues.

This presents a fundamental disconnect: Why do such a large majority of organizations feel they're prepared while they’re simultaneously losing the battle against these threats—-losing in terms of malware infections, costs to the business and public perception?

This free 75-minute educational webinar hosted by Secure Computing and featuring Forrester Principal Analyst Chenxi Wang will explore these issues.

Ms. Wang will be joined by Grant Murphy, Secure Computing’s Director of Web Gateway Security to discuss best practices and approaches to protect your enterprise against today’s most dangerous Web gateway security threats.
