Vamosa Unveils Check & Fix Web Site Content Monitoring Service

Application, checks and automatically fixes errors, will be delivered to customers as a software-as-a-service

Boston, MA " 24 June 2009 " Vamosa, provider of software and solutions for Enterprise Content Governance (ECoG) today unveiled Check & Fix, the first web site content monitoring service that checks and automatically fixes errors. Check & Fix addresses key compliance issues faced by companies by helping them stay on brand, maximize operational efficiency, reduce risk through adherence to standards and automate web content quality processes that are too large and complex to complete manually.

The launch of Check & Fix coincides with Vamosa's strategy to deliver ECoG, the end-to-end process of creating, implementing and maintaining content quality standards. ECoG offerings allow large businesses and Governments worldwide to implement content management and compliance policies within an infrastructure of best practice methods. Vamosa software automates the process of building quality standards into Web and Document content, complementing the structure imposed by CMS technologies and delivering faster time to value. The technology helps to save organizations time and money by avoiding lengthy manual processes.

"Enterprises face an enormous challenge trying to maintain full visibility of their web content while keeping it consistent across business units, departments and regions with multiple web editors," said George Knox, CEO, Vamosa. "Our solution is the first service to ensure that where there is significant deviation from the businesses standard, an automated process will restore all content to its base-lined state. Check & Fix is an intelligent solution to help organizations maximize the value of web content by ensuring it is controlled, re-usable, findable and cost-controlled."

The web site monitoring application will be delivered to customers as a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) through Vamosa's Check & Fix Portal designed to specifically meet the needs of large enterprises and government organizations managing large estates and operating in a multi-editor web environment. Check & Fix is a cost effective and scalable solution that is fast to deploy and requires no initial capital outlay.

Knox continued, "Our Early Adopter Programme is designed to help our customers and partners to identify the success factors, behaviours and best practices for Check & Fix. We believe by creating these strategic alliances, we'll provide customers with the ability to take advantage of next generation ECoG features."

The major benefits of Vamosa's Check & Fix are:

  • Monitor any number of sites automatically
  • Provide monitoring information through an online information portal
  • Build policies around key strategic content
  • Propose solutions to issues
  • Apply fixes to content inside a CMS
  • Deliver brand consistency
  • Adhere to accessibility standards
  • Save time and money
  • Enhance the user experience
