Tizor Systems has joined the PCI Security Vendor Alliance as a management member

MAYNARD, Mass. -- Tizor Systems, the leading provider of enterprise data auditing and protection solutions for the data center, today announced it has joined the PCI Security Vendor Alliance as a management member, representing the first data auditing and protection company to work with other leading technology vendors to help the retail industry automate PCI compliance and support the Payment Card Industry (PCI) Data Security Standard.

The PCI Security Vendors Alliance (PCI SVA) is a coalition of vendors that provide solutions and expertise in securing payment card transactions. PCI SVA assists members of the payment card industry - composed of merchants, banks, and point-of-sale vendors - in educating the business community on the requirements and business value of the PCI Data Security Standard (DSS) a global benchmark intended to improve security throughout the entire payment card transaction process. The PCI DSS is applicable to any enterprise that processes payment cards including retail, hospitality, healthcare, entertainment and others.
