PRESS RELEASE

San Francisco, California " March 2, 2010 - Route1 Inc. (TSXV: ROI), a security and identity-based services company, today announced the commercial availability of the Route1 MobiKEY' Fusion identity validation device.

MobiKEY Fusion extends portable and high assurance identity-based access to information and systems needed from anywhere, at any time, to identity and access cards based on the ID-1 standard. ID-1 is an international standard (ISO/IEC 7810-2003) commonly used for government-issued cards such as drivers' licenses and passports, bank cards, credit cards and other personal identity cards.

Increasingly, organizations are mandating multifactor authentication that combines computer and network access with physical access using ID-1 cards.

Powered by MobiNET', an identity management and service delivery platform, the MobiKEY Fusion is a multifactor authentication device that simplifies the access component, while MobiNET universally manages the identities of users and entitlement to digital resources. Users can only access systems with a combination of their MobiKEY Fusion device, identity or access card and secret password.

The Route1 solution provides government and military users with a combination of ease-of-use and strong cryptography for in-theater operations. Coupled with strong multifactor identication and sophisticated entitlement controls, MobiKEY Fusion ensures that field personnel and warghters have secure access to C4ISR (Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance) systems and information they need, when and where they need it.

"The Route1 MobiKEY Fusion addresses a market need, especially among our U.S. government customers to comply with encryption and cryptographic requirements such as HSPD-12 (Homeland Security Presidential Directive 12) for a common identification standard for federal employees and contractors. Currently, the MobiKEY Fusion supports the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Common Access Card (CAC), the Personal Identification Verification (PIV) card and the First Responder Authentication Credential (FRAC) card," said Tony Busseri, president and chief executive officer of Route1. "MobiKEY Fusion utilizes the enterprise or government-issued authentication certificates contained on the smart card of identity cards to enable secure, remote identity-based access to digital resources."

MobiKEY Fusion is driverless and does not require pre-installed middleware. When accessing MobiNET services, the user leaves no trace of their computing session and information on the Guest computer, while protecting the enterprise network from any viruses and malware. All enterprise data stays within enterprise firewalls, enabling and simplifying security policy enforcement. MobiKEY Fusion also contains counter measures against software keyboard loggers.

MobiKEY Fusion minimizes data leakage by eliminating the need for users to carry around a laptop or other mobile device loaded with enterprise data and applications. If the MobiKEY Fusion device is lost or stolen, enterprise networks cannot be compromised. This is in contrast to other portable devices such as laptops and flash drives, which can be used to store sensitive enterprise data and can easily put organizations at risk.

Route1 will demonstrate the MobiKEY Fusion at the RSA Security Expo in San Francisco, California from March 2-4, 2010 with Giesecke and Devrient in Booth 1745.
