EDISON, N.J. -- StrikeForce Technologies (OTCBB: SKFT), a global leader specializing in the prevention of Identity theft, today announced that it contracted with the North American operations of a Global Information Storage Media Manufacturer to provide multi-factor authentication to the corporate networks serving their headquarters, regional offices, manufacturing and distribution operations in the United States, Canada and Mexico.

"After learning about the effectiveness of the ProtectID(TM) authentication platform directly from a government customer, the Manufacturer contacted us with the challenge of providing user authentication across their diverse environments, including VPN, Windows Domain, Novell and AS400," says Jordan Byk, VP of Channel Distribution for StrikeForce.

"While the Manufacturer's corporate policy prevents 'Brand Name' disclosure, we are permitted to explain that their criteria for choosing a solution included the following requirements: scalability, flexibility, redundancy, compliancy with Sarbanes-Oxley regulations and finally it must be competitively priced."

After considering solutions from several vendors, the manufacturer's steering committee overwhelmingly selected StrikeForce's ProtectID(TM) Authentication Platform as the platform of choice. Plans are in place to roll out StrikeForce's ProtectID OATH compliant One-Time-Passwords (OTP) along with its telephone/PIN proprietary two-factor authentication method and StrikeForce's hardware token authentication.

"Between the frequent and growing publicity from customer wins, coupled with customer references and a responsive technical support team, the manufacturer substantially sold themselves," said Byk.
