MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. -- InfoExpress, a leader in network access control solutions, today announced the latest versions of its CyberGatekeeper family and Dynamic NAC network access control (NAC) products. Dynamic NAC now includes support for Mac OS X, Linux and Vista operating systems, providing deeper endpoint visibility, enforcement, compliance and security for companies with heterogeneous computing environments. Dynamic NAC also has advanced authentication options, including redundancy and machine authentication. Improved reporting provides more details on endpoint visibility across all supported platforms.

"It is critical for us that any network access control solution supports a heterogeneous network environment. We have students and staff using a wide variety of different client operating systems," said Steve Taylor, ICT Risk Manager at The University of Auckland. "The broad OS support, combined with its ease-of-deployment and manageability, was therefore a key reason for us deciding to evaluate Dynamic NAC."

With the new release of CyberGatekeeper and Dynamic NAC, InfoExpress is addressing several of the key challenges companies face when selecting and deploying NAC. Customers and partners are demanding support for more diverse platforms as they are operating in more heterogeneous desktop and networking environments. Threats and malware are not exclusive to Windows environments. With more complex network configurations than ever before, endpoints must be audited in greater detail than traditional in-line appliances are able to provide. As a result, these solutions may miss key information that should be inspected before allowing users access to the network.

With deep and granular inspection into Vista, Mac and Linux endpoints, InfoExpress offers a unique multi-platform NAC solution with unprecedented ease of deployment. Designed to operate in real-world enterprises with different end-point platforms on diverse network configurations, Dynamic NAC installs without the need for network changes.

"InfoExpress continues to lead the market with unmatched functionality in the latest release of Dynamic NAC which provides deep visibility into a variety of endpoint platforms," said Stacy Lum, CEO of InfoExpress. "By offering this capability with zero network changes, Dynamic NAC makes it easy and cost effective for companies to implement NAC solutions, further driving the adoption and advancement of the NAC market."
