Companies to integrate Identity Finder's Sensitive Data Manager enterprise solution with Verdasys' Digital Guardian and Managed Service for Information Protection offering

NEW YORK, NY -- February 26, 2014 --Identity Finder LLC, a leading provider of sensitive data management solutions, today announced a partnership agreement with Verdasys, Inc., the leading provider of advanced data protection for endpoints for the Global 2000 and mid-sized companies. The partnership allows the companies to integrate Identity Finder's Sensitive Data Manager enterprise solution with Verdasys' Digital Guardian and Managed Service for Information Protection (MSIP) offering, enabling joint global customers to minimize the risk of data theft and protect their brand reputation.

Sensitive Data Manager, with capabilities to automatically find, classify and secure sensitive information, enhances the Digital Guardian platform and MSIP offering through data discovery on files across the network, within databases, SharePoint and email servers and scanned images. Sensitive Data Manager offers customers data intelligence into their sensitive data risk and file level protection to minimize the risk of data leakage.

"Sensitive data management is critical to maximizing the return on security investments, business continuity, compliance and protecting brand reputation. Our award winning solutions already help thousands of global companies reduce their risk of sensitive data being stolen by criminals," said Todd Feinman, CEO at Identity Finder. "This partnership enables our joint customers to not only understand where their greatest risks are, but comprehensively protect against threats from internal and external sources."

"Enterprises today are realizing you cannot rely on network layer solutions only to protect sensitive data. They simply cannot catch everything, so you have to protect data at the endpoint as well," said Bill Ledingham, CTO at Verdasys. "Identity Finder's award-winning solutions are a perfect complement to our Digital Guardian and MSIP offering, giving enterprises the ability to proactively protect data against both insider and cyber threats. Our joint customers will immediately find the solution useful in their multi-layered data security defense strategy."

Verdasys Digital Guardian is the only data protection solution combining both insider threat and cyber threat defense in a single, integrated platform. It is used by government agencies around the world, as well as Global 2000 companies, including seven of the top 10 U.S. patent holders, where it protects more than a trillion dollars' worth of intellectual property and trade secrets. Digital Guardian is unique in its ability to see and stop malicious actions by users and malware on endpoints. The software puts data events into context and applies a granular set of rules to protect it against all types of threats.

Feinman added, "Whether it's personal information, employee data, customer data or intellectual property, enterprises are concerned with data breaches and are looking for solutions that empower processes to minimize the risk of sensitive data loss. By partnering with Verdasys, Identity Finder will be able to offer a robust solution that provides a new level of data intelligence and comprehensive protection not on the market today."
