CUPERTINO, Calif. -- ForeScout Technologies, a leading provider of clientless network access control (NAC) for Fortune 500 enterprises and government organizations, indicated today that its impressive Q1 start may indeed signal that 2007 is the year of NAC. ForeScout's first quarter sales equaled 50% of total 2006 sales.
"Industry pundits predict that 2007 will be the proving ground for NAC. This strong first quarter, coupled with known budgeted NAC projects, indicates 2007 will be a banner year for ForeScout," said T. Kent Elliott, CEO of ForeScout Technologies. "ForeScout is leading the charge with products that are field proven in global deployments with feature sets that have been shaped by customers' real-life experiences. We are confident in our ability to continue this momentum and believe these results support industry thought leaders who indicate that NAC is moving beyond an industry buzz word to become a critical element of network security."
"We continue to see consistent follow-on orders from NAC customers especially in the entertainment, federal government, oil and gas and high-tech sectors. Two reorders exceeding $200K each added both enterprises to ForeScout's growing $1M+ customer list," said Elliott, expressing further encouragement in the business and geographic diversity of customers in Q1. "A few examples include a Global 50 Finance Company added to our customer list with combined shipments of nearly $600K and plans for ongoing purchase orders every quarter in 2007. We added a new Healthcare Organization with a first order of $220K and another similar sized order expected for Q2. Most exciting, they add a new hospital to their network every month. We received an initial order of $330K from a Japanese Automobile Company. Finally, we added yet another military installation and saw a marked increase in evaluation orders in global UK based companies."
