PRESS RELEASE

BOULDER, Colo., Dec. 16, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- eCrypt Technologies, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: ECRY) has updated its flagship email privacy software, eCrypt Mobile Mail Privacy, to be compatible with BlackBerry 6.

BlackBerry 6 provides BlackBerry smartphone users with enhanced features such as integrated social feeds, faster and richer web browsing, universal search, and enhanced multimedia, while eCrypt Mobile Mail Privacy enables users to easily secure their contacts and emails by providing an additional layer of security to seamlessly protect the privacy of their electronic communications.

With cyber crime costing individuals and companies in excess of $1 trillion annually in damages, users are becoming more aware of the importance of protecting the privacy of information transmitted over the internet.

"Email privacy is essential to protecting ourselves from cyber crime attacks," commented Brad Lever, president and CEO of eCrypt Inc. "Although a single email may not be significant, if you consider all your emails, and add to that information available on social networks, it's easy to create an accurate profile of who you are, who you know, what you do and what assets you have."

With increased adoption and use of smartphones in the marketplace, users become accustomed to and reliant upon their devices for immediate on-the-go access to email. Everyday use can lead to complacency however, and the intangibility of virtual threats makes it easy to forget that they exist.

"Being avid BlackBerry smartphone users ourselves, we at eCrypt Inc are committed to continually updating the compatibility of our product to support the latest BlackBerry smartphones," said Brad Lever.
