SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. -- The Unified Cross Domain Management Office (UCDMO) has added the General Dynamics Trusted Network Environment (TNE) to its Cross Domain Inventory baseline product list and approved it for use by the U.S. Department of Defense and intelligence communities. One of only 15 products selected from among 800 evaluated by UCDMO, TNE is an enterprise-wide solution that enables authorized users in one secure domain to share information and collaborate with users in secure domains elsewhere, without compromising network or information security.

A single mouse-click enables TNE users to access, create, combine and exchange various levels of classified information, including e-mail, Internet web-sites, files and services without physically moving from one secure, networked computer system to another. The single-click functionality is a vast improvement over current systems.

“Users separated by inches or continents are free of the time- and equipment-intensive procedures currently associated with working within and across secure network domains,” said John Cole, vice president of Information Assurance at General Dynamics C4 Systems. “Field-proven on highly sensitive programs, TNE is now on the short-list of enterprise-wide solutions available to government users.”
