Cambridge, U.K. -- A new technology evaluation and comparison report titled ‘Access and Identity Management’ published by Butler Group (a Datamonitor company) has acknowledged Cryptomathic as “a leading supplier of strong security solutions” and has credited the company with employing some of the “world’s leading cryptographers”.

The independent endorsement is given in a section of the analyst report which profiles vendors whose solutions are important to the delivery of end-to-end identity and access management services.

In Cryptomathic’s profile, the author places particular emphasis on promoting the Authenticator – Cryptomathic’s secure, multi channel authentication solution. The report additionally acknowledges the company’s strong commitment to research and development activities, which enables it to “continue to focus on the development and provision of industry-focused, high quality protected solutions”.

The overall objective of the report, published in June 2006, is to provide business decision makers, senior managers, security officers and other key technologists with information about identity and access management technology; its functional business role, its maturity of purpose and essentially how it should be used to safeguard and at the same time enable business operability and inter-business operability.
