Cybertrust awarded GSA schedule 70 contract for PKI offering and professional services
HERNDON, Va. -- Cybertrust®, the global information security specialist, today announced that it was awarded U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) IT Schedule 70 for its Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) Shared Service Provider (SSP) Program (Special Item Number 132-61) and its Professional Information Technology Services (Special Item Number 132-51).
GSA IT Schedule 70 was established to provide U.S. government agencies the ability to procure the products and services they need as solutions to their information technology requirements. Schedule 70 is a Multiple Award Schedule (MAS) that provides federal, state and local U.S. governments with a vehicle to purchase services and products directly from Cybertrust.
“Cybertrust has worked with business and governments worldwide on a variety of identity management initiatives, such as HSPD-12, national identity cards and ePassports,” said Stijn Bijnens, Cybertrust senior vice president of identity management. “The GSA Schedule 70 Contract will allow us to provide additional expertise to U.S. government organizations to help them meet federal regulations and above all, secure and protect confidential information.”
