The program, developed under the agreement announced in May with Allianex, a leading provider of brand management services, makes available "My Tech Card" prepaid cards for a full range of CyberDefender products and services at highly visible point of purchase merchandising displays at stores ranging from small "mom and pop" shops to the nation's largest "big box" stores. Each store in the program is partnered with InComm, the industry leader in stored-value gift and pre-paid products with more than $8 billion in sales transactions.
"InComm is excited to be working with CyberDefender in the launch of their new 'My Tech Card,'" said Dave Etling, Vice President of Product Development at InComm. "Partnerships like this allow InComm to continue to grow its industry leading suite of top tier products while leveraging its key retail relationships." He continued, "Strong consumer demand for CyberDefender products and services backed by InComm's best practices with regard to launching products at retail, should permit us to meet and exceed expectations."
"This first of its kind distribution arrangement with InComm and CyberDefender brings the right access to prepaid and gift card consumers the technology related user assistance they need and deserve," added Ken Rotman, President of Allianex.
Aiming For One Million+ Paying Customer Base
Mr. Gary Guseinov, CEO of CyberDefender, stated, "We fully anticipate that through our new 'bricks and mortar' marketing strategy, we will achieve exposure to many millions of potential new customers. Our ambitious initial roll out schedule including many of InComm's retail locations will have 'My Tech Card' available just in time for the back to school shopping season. Over the next twelve to eighteen months we believe we can achieve significant sales gains utilizing this exciting new channel which complements our recent advertising initiatives on television and radio as well as on the Internet, which historically has been our major marketing channel."
He added, "Our ramped up marketing effort is based on the fact that a very high percentage of CyberDefender customers appreciate the peace of mind our products can provide and become repeat customers. Placing the new 'My Tech Card' prepaid cards in a prominent spot in each new store in this program can be expected to attract many more to our paid customer base which we anticipate will exceed one million by mid next year."
