Concord, CA., April 17, 2009 — Cranium Solutions, Inc. the global leader in simple solutions for security testing, today announced the release of the first cloud based complete end-to-end security test solution.

Cranium's vision was to develop a more complete and simple to use security assessment solution at a fraction of the cost of other solutions in the market place. The result is the release of ASAP (Automated Security Assessment Program), available in two versions. ASAP Standard, available free with validated registration, allows testing of perimeter networks and meets the PCI DSS Penetration Test requirement section 11.3. ASAP Enterprise version adds the ability to fully scan and test internal networks using Cranium's proprietary endpoint technology that establishes a secure connection to an isolated Cranium ASAP cloud environment. Both products give the user the option to run a vulnerability assessment to first identify any potential vulnerability, or a full endto- end assessment that includes launching a penetration test against discovered weaknesses to validate the vulnerability. No other product in the market today offers identification and validation in one solution, or in a cloud-computing environment.

Security assessments in the past often required a seasoned security professional to perform and were very expensive. ASAP incorporates proprietary algorithms based on many years of professional experience to provide more complete results than any other security assessment and penetration test product currently available. Through a simple web interface a user can now perform expert level assessments with a click of the mouse. Taking advantage of cloud computing technology, users no longer have to dedicate expensive resources or install additional equipment in their datacenters. ASAP runs completely from Cranium's virtual servers, reducing costs, management overhead, and adding another level of security for users. Cranium's proprietary endpoint technology allows the user to simply boot from a CD-ROM or can be loaded in a virtual machine.
