(Nasdaq:CHKP), the worldwide leader in securing the Internet, today announced that the state of Minnesota’s Office of Enterprise Technology (OET) has selected the Pointsec PC full-disk encryption solution to secure laptops and PCs and Pointsec Protector to secure removable media devices, ensuring that all data is completely protected, even if a device is lost or stolen. The contract with the State of Minnesota makes Pointsec PC available to state and local government, public schools and higher education institutions under a single contract.

It also manages strategic investments in information and telecommunications technology systems and services to ensure sufficient access to and efficient delivery of government services.
