The BreakingPoint Resiliency Score provides an objective, repeatable and scientifically measured certification of the performance, security and stability of any network or network device. The Resiliency Score methodology was unveiled today on the show floor at RSA Conference (Booth 1356), with vendors receiving an opportunity to calculate their score. The BreakingPoint Resiliency Score is calculated using the latest information from standard groups such as CERT, IEEE and IETF, as well as real-world traffic mixes from the world's largest service providers. The BreakingPoint Resiliency Score simulation provides a common network configuration for all devices in order to be fair and balanced for all vendors. The BreakingPoint Resiliency Score is presented as a numeric grade from 1 to100. Devices may receive no score if they fail to pass traffic at any point or they degrade to a performance level well below that expected.
