Breach has received $6 million in Series B financing from two strategic investment firms

CARLSBAD, Calif. -- Breach Security, Inc., a leading provider of web application security technology that protects privileged information from targeted Internet attacks, today announced that the company has received $6 million in Series B financing from two strategic investment firms - Sid R. Bass Associates and Enterprise Partners Venture Capital.

Breach Security markets a suite of application security products for protecting corporate and government web applications. The company's flagship product, BreachGate WebDefend, is a non-intrusive web application firewall providing comprehensive protection against all techniques for breaking into web applications. WebDefend is the only web application firewall that can be deployed out-of-line and provide complete blocking protection. WebDefend's automated profiling technology provides the lowest possible cost of ownership for web application security.

The new investment will also be used to augment the company's balance sheet to provide the flexibility to expand business operations or territories based on customer opportunities.
