BizCom Web Services Launches SaaS Security Services Through Partnership With McAfee

Partnership will allow BizCom to offer additional Web security services to its customer base

RALEIGH, N.C., Oct. 26 /PRNewswire/ -- BizCom Web Services today announced that it has finalized a partnership with McAfee, Inc., the world's largest dedicated security technology company. This partnership will allow BizCom to offer additional Web security services to its customer base.

BizCom is adding the McAfee(R) SaaS Email Protection Service and McAfee(R) SaaS Web Protection Service. These new hosted offerings provide customers with an effective first line of defense at the network perimeter to prevent vulnerabilities and threats such as spam, worms and spyware from entering a managed network.

"Regardless if customers currently take advantage of BizCom's Web Solutions and Hosted eCommunications, or they have an in-house messaging server, BizCom can provide total business protection," says Don Rodger, Vice President of Information Technology at BizCom Web Services.

BizCom's complete set of SaaS delivered online security solutions include:

-- McAfee SaaS Email Inbound Filtering which protects businesses and users against email-borne threats before they reach the corporate network -- McAfee SaaS Email Protection which prevents inbound threats and potentially damaging outbound emails -- McAfee SaaS Email Protection and Continuity which enables businesses to stay connected and productive

The new seamless email continuity solution helps protect your business reputation, operations, and productivity, even during email server outages, by providing:

-- Automatic service engagement when an outage is detected -- Access to email received during an outage via a secure Web interface -- Full email functionality, including read, compose, reply, forward, and delete -- 60 days of unlimited rolling storage -- Intelligent post-outage email activity synchronization -- Outage notifications and system updates -- Inbound message filtering

"Spam is the foremost delivery mechanism for breeding thousands of forms of destructive malware, while legions of growing online threats are undermining Web-based activity. With security threats on the rise, and industry regulations expanding to keep pace, it's hard to be sure that your product or service is truly secure and compliant. Our new partnership with McAfee allows us to add the robust, up-to-date security that your business demands and deserves," says Mark Wiener, President of BizCom Web Services.

In addition, the implementation of McAfee SaaS products will assure a better IT experience for BizCom customers and resellers by thwarting spammers and spoofers, utilizing Web protection to restrict surfing, and generating Internet usage reports, McAfee products keep bandwidth available for data applications.

McAfee's Partners must demonstrate a firm commitment to customer satisfaction, competency, and revenue growth.
