TORONTO -- Bioscrypt Inc. (TSX: BYT), a leading provider of enterprise access management solutions, today announced its VeriSoft Access Manager Server will be offered to HP business PC users to deliver centralized, enterprise-class manageability of client systems. In addition, Bioscrypt will continue to work with HP to include Credential Manager for HP ProtectTools on its business notebooks and desktops.

A proactive IT security strategy includes three pillars: the protection of user identities, the protection of IT assets and the protection of networks.

Bioscrypt, together with HP, has developed a solution to address each of these pillars. To protect user identity, Bioscrypt offers multi-factor authentication including support for biometric, card, token, password and other identification methods. To protect IT assets, Bioscrypt provides support for Trusted Platform Modules, a hardware chip embedded on the motherboard that can be used to authenticate hardware devices. To protect the network, Bioscrypt provides Single Sign-On to simplify password management.

Offering enterprise-class manageability, Bioscrypt's VeriSoft Access Manager Server will now be recommended in HP business notebooks and desktops that include Credential Manager for HP ProtectTools. VeriSoft Access Manager Server provides customers with a back-end server that supports multi-vendor environments as well as advanced settings and options for administrator configuration. This will build on the security protection for HP commercial notebooks and desktop PCs that will continue to be provided by Credential Manager for HP ProtectTools, which is based on Bioscrypt's Universal Security Client software application.

"Our relationship with HP has been central to the continued interest in our VeriSoft software, which includes products such as Universal Security Client and Access Manager. We are pleased that HP continues to recognize the value of our offering and is moving forward with the technology on a larger scale," said Robert L. Williams, President and CEO, Bioscrypt. "We look forward to working with the company to promote and support the sale of this innovative technology."
