Palo Alto, CA – June 2, 2010 — Accellion, Inc. today announced the industry’s first secure file transfer solution for the Microsoft Business Productivity Infrastructure (BPI) and Business Productivity Online Suite (BPOS) allowing Microsoft SharePoint, OCS and Outlook users to easily and securely share digital information. Today’s announcement extends the Accellion solution to include new plug-ins for Microsoft Outlook 2010, Microsoft SharePoint 2010, and Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007 R2 (OCS) for both on-premise and cloud environments.

The Accellion Secure File Transfer solution allows enterprises and government agencies to securely send and receive files and folders up to 20GB. Encryption and business-level authentication validates recipients so confidential information is not overexposed. Accellion Secure File Transfer also provides an audit trail with the tracking and reporting necessary to demonstrate compliance. Accellion will be demonstrating secure file transfer plug-ins for Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft Office Communications Server and Microsoft Outlook at Microsoft TechEd North America 2010 in New Orleans on June 7 – 10, 2010.
