Fortent announced the appointment of Kay LaBare as Chief Technology Officer

NEW YORK -- Fortent, a specialist in anti-money laundering, Know Your Customer, and fraud detection technology, announced today the appointment of Kay LaBare as Chief Technology Officer. In addition to leading Fortent’s technology strategy and systems architecture development, Ms. LaBare will manage all product development and technical product marketing for the company.

Ms. LaBare is an experienced technology executive with an extensive background in financial services. Prior to joining Fortent, Ms. LaBare was Chief Technology Officer for Thomson Healthcare and Thomson Investment Banking Group, where she was responsible for systems architecture, infrastructure, and product delivery for all the Group’s portfolio companies. Recently, she led an enterprise-wide technology strategy effort at the NASD.
