Michael and Cathy Maloney have been married for the last 35 years and have together gone through thick and thin. It's been an amazing journey for the both of them and they are no stranger to hardship. When they first moved to the Gold Coast from Sydney, they purchased a Mitre 10 franchise and put their hearts and backs into it to make it work.

Michael and Cathy worked steadfastly 7 days a week and long hours into the evening to get affairs in order at their franchise but a few years down the road, a bigger company was out to acquire the Mitre 10 chain. With that, Michael and Cathy took to looking for a new opportunity and found something just as worthwhile with the Supercheap Storage business model!

Knowing the amount of effort that's required to get things up and running, they were pleasantly surprised by how amazing running the Supercheap Storage franchise really was. After starting their chain in 2012, they've come to the point where they are even able to work from home from time to time, or as the bosses - even when they felt like it.

And Michael and Cathy want to extend the ease and convenience of this amazing business through Supercheap Storage, bringing the news of this amazing system to anybody who is out looking for a great self storage solution!

What they've realised is that when customers decide that they want to keep their items within storage, they want to make sure there's an absolute standard of care and quality protection for their items. And that's exactly what Supercheap Storage intends to give you! Some items are obviously a little more precious than others and while they require special care to preserve their value - whether sentimental, or actual monetary value - we'll help you to ensure you don't break the bank taking care of your things!

With Supercheap Storage Gold Coast, we try to minimise any situation which may compromise the level of quality service and protection for your items under our care. We are happy to inform you that we also have a range of climate controlled mobile storage pods which are not only environmentally-sound and weather proof, but also extremely durable and spacious! Even at our warehouse facilities, the mobile storage pods are strategically suspended and stacked with ample "breathing room". This is to minimize elemental exposure to each of the different groups of pods under our care.
