Through its Intel ESAA program membership, Astaro will provide an additional Network Security deployment option for organizations that seek the benefits and cost savings of consolidating server and network resources.

As a member of the Intel' ESAA program, Astaro is able to provide its Astaro Security Gateway software appliance on the Intel Modular Server platform. This platform has support for up to six hot-swappable Intel' Xeon' processor-based compute modules and features integrated storage and networking. Customers can now complete their "Business in a Box" strategy with award-winning network security from Astaro. The Astaro Security Gateway software appliance includes a wide range of capabilities, including Firewall Protection, SSL VPN, Intrusion Prevention, Content (URL) Filtering, Email Filtering, and IM/P2P Traffic Management.
