PRESS RELEASE

Santa Clara, Calif. – September 21, 2015 – Seculert, a leader in automated attack detection and analytics, today announced that it has appointed Richard Greene as Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Dudi Matot, co-founder and current CEO, will continue to serve the company as President. Greene previously served as Seculert’s president of field operations, architecting the company’s sales and go to market strategy.

“Seculert is growing quickly thanks to its unique cloud-based attack detection technology. The company is garnering interest from large enterprises across verticals who need better insight and control over their inner-network and applications, where their perimeter defenses have failed” said Gili Raanan, General Partner, Sequoia Capital. “Richard has an exceptional track record of growing successful security businesses and we are thrilled to work with him and the company’s founders as they enter this next phase of growth.”

Greene has more than 25 years of business and technical experience in IT security. Prior to joining Seculert, he was the president and CEO of AppCentral, a leader in enterprise mobile app stores, where he led the company through its successful acquisition by Good Technology in 2012. Prior to AppCentral, Greene held sales and management leadership roles at McAfee, PGP and Symantec.

“Seculert has taken an innovative security technology and turned it into a sophisticated analytics platform that enables businesses to accurately understand where they are compromised, by what kind of attack and for how long,” said Greene. “This depth of analysis allows CISOs and security administrators to have a clear view of their risk, prioritize remediation and quickly respond to breaches. It is exciting to work with a company that is using real innovation to address an absolutely critical need in security, and I look forward to helping the company accelerate its growth and expand globally.”
