A Blockchain Platform: The Security Now Bloqchain Science Interview

You can't so much as go to a coffee shop today without hearing the word 'blockchain.' Hearing about a useful blockchain is less common, but putting the distributed ledger technology to good use is the idea behind Bloqchain.

Bloqchain Science began as a humanitarian project to help immigrants more easily integrate into a country where they have no bank, no formal identity and often no state-issued ID to establish an identity. According to Bloqchain Science founder Dean Karakitsos, blockchain technology can be the key to all of these functions in a cost-effective way that doesn't place strains on government resources.

In this exclusive Security Now video interview, Karakitsos explains blockchain technology, why blockchain and Bitcoin are two different things and how Bloqchain Science has built a platform that allows interoperation between different blockchains.
