Companies will provide customers with common security monitoring, management and compliance services

Singapore and Omaha, Neb., December 16, 2009 " Leading managed security service providers (MSSPs), Solutionary, Inc. (USA) and e-Cop Pte. Ltd., (Singapore) today announced a strategic alliance to provide an extensive suite of security and compliance services. The companies will provide customers with common security monitoring, management and compliance services, localized in-country support in more than 20 languages, and centralized contracting and service delivery management. These services will be supported locally by eight Security Operations Centers (SOCs) throughout the Americas and Asia.

"Our e-Cop alliance extends Solutionary's commitment to provide global services to customers who have extensive security and/or compliance requirements across multiple geographic regions," said Jarrett Miller, Vice President of Channel Sales for Solutionary. "We are excited to partner with e-Cop, the leading MSSP in Asia Pacific. This alliance greatly expands the global impact of our ActiveGuard security and compliance platform, while also furthering the reach of both Solutionary and e-Cop. Our alliance establishes a common platform for each company to more fully and effectively deliver value to enterprise, public sector and government organizations worldwide."

Sui Wee Chong, e-Cop Executive Director said, "A first of its kind in Asia that two long serving MSSPs are partnering and engaging in security intelligence sharing " enhancing global situational awareness, this can only bring better value to customers on both continents. e-Cop will tap on Solutionary's strong presence in North America to boost up the responsiveness of local support for our customers there and vice versa for Solutionary customers in APAC region."

"We are excited about the potential of our collaboration, and possibilities that lie ahead of us. Together we can offer cutting-edge security solutions for global customers," he added.

Solutionary and e-Cop are acknowledged leaders in the information security market. E-Cop was Frost and Sullivan's Asian "MSSP of the Year" for three of the last four years. Solutionary is a recognized leader in managed security services by industry analyst firms Gartner and Forrester. Gartner analyst Andrew Walls said, "Market trends indicate that geographically distributed enterprises prefer to obtain security help from multi-national Managed Security Service Providers. "MSSPs that are able, through alliances, mergers or organic growth, to increase their geographic scope are well positioned to compete aggressively in the growing market for MSS around the world."

The Solutionary and e-Cop alliance creates one of the largest teams of technically savvy security specialists in the industry, leveraging best practices learned over the past decade. With over 250 billion events processed annually, Solutionary and e-Cop together offer customers the advantage of security intelligence gathered and correlated across two very active geographic regions with organizations having global reach and security needs.

Together e-Cop and Solutionary will offer a comprehensive suite of security monitoring and management services including: log monitoring, device management, and full Build Operate and Transfer (BOT) SOC services. A unified portal will be made available to provide clients a global view, and access to both full, global cross-correlation of log data as well as strict in-country log correlation and analysis. Threat intelligence gained and correlated from thousands of devices monitored on multiple continents will enhance the effectiveness of both organizations' services and benefit customers.
