Headed for disaster
It is scary to think about just how reliant we are on power to do things these days. I reckon the whole world would die if our technology starts crashing one by one. A power outage like that would cause so many ripples in the industry and country just because people were unable to function! And I don't think that our dependency is going to improve very much in the future either.. We've got a lot to learn about being sustainable if you ask me...

Be better prepared
Those that feel a great impact due to the power outage ought to be more prepared for future unforeseen circumstances. They can have a backup generator especially businesses that need to run around the clock or households with medical aids that run on power. Things could turn ugly should they experience yet another unexpected situation again. Take this incident as a lesson to be better at preventing an unnecessary situation.
