misconfigured another AWS-hosted database
Deja vu. Misconfigured instances in AWS are resulting in many instances of data exfiltration. I've stated before that to resolve this issue Amazon should restrict modification of its initial secure configs but that doesn't seem to be in the pipeline. At the very least create warning signs that if a sysadmin goes to modify a config that states, "By performing this action you are creating a less secure environment, are you sure you want to complete?" Then another pop-up that says, "Are you really sure?" Followed by, "You've been identified as a security risk."
