For some travelers, payment card data, including name, number, and expiration date, was compromised.
Hate to see when this happens. I am always interested to see how a companies PCI environment is segmented to see how they might have been able to avoid this occurrence. Typically, flat networks allow for this information to be gathered much too easily. Not saying this is the case, but many times lack of segmentation is a direct cause to this type of data leakage.

Risk is a product of threat and vulnerability. I always stress the importance of vulnerability management especially on critical assets because that is the product that we as Security Professionals can control. Threat will never be an item that is 100% deterrable.
