Perplexed
I find it quite odd that you would expedite extradition to be tried in the US, especially when you intended to plead innocent.

Re: Perplexed
@Ryan: I definitely see your point, but if he really is innocent and believes he will be exonerated, a speedy trial could well be to his benefit -- especially if his assets are frozen. There may be other factors at play, too. Who knows?

Re: Perplexed
@Dr.T: More to the point, in the US, it's a Constitutional right where criminal charges are concerned.

Re: Perplexed
"especially if his assets are frozen" That would be very good, there has to be a precedence set for this case.

Re: Perplexed
"expedite extradition to be tried in the US" I agree, this should be done quite easily for many countries but when it comes to Russia it may not be that easy.

Suspect ?
I did not know there was suspect on this issue, that is good, he can plead not guilty that will not change final outcome if he is at fault.

Verizon / yahoo
Now that Verizon owns yahoo, do we think the security of their infrastructure and systems are any better?

Re: Verizon / yahoo
@Dr.T: The purchase of Yahoo was more for Yahoo's content assets than for its systems or user base. I don't think VZ particularly cares that much otherwise.

Everything You Need to Know About DNS Attacks
It's important to understand DNS, potential attacks against it, and the tools and techniques required to defend DNS infrastructure. This report answers all the questions you were afraid to ask. Domain Name Service (DNS) is a critical part of any organization's digital infrastructure, but it's also one of the least understood. DNS is designed to be invisible to business professionals, IT stakeholders, and many security professionals, but DNS's threat surface is large and widely targeted. Attackers are causing a great deal of damage with an array of attacks such as denial of service, DNS cache poisoning, DNS hijackin, DNS tunneling, and DNS dangling. They are using DNS infrastructure to take control of inbound and outbound communications and preventing users from accessing the applications they are looking for. To stop attacks on DNS, security teams need to shore up the organization's security hygiene around DNS infrastructure, implement controls such as DNSSEC, and monitor DNS traffic
