Insider threats will continue to grow
With corporations providing access to more and more users to sensitive data, the issue of insider threats will more than likely increase.  This is why visibility in who access what and how is critical.  Let me explain: access used by a legitimate user cannot be flagged, but excessive access to various data at odd times by any legitinate users could raise a flagg if highlighted to IT staff.  Analytics, identity analytics, to be correct, will be critical to detect such abnomalies and provide visibility to corporations and their IT staff...until then...insiders will have a field day with sensitive data.

This issue of Tech Insights also includes: a market overview for XDR from Omdia, questions to ask before deploying XDR, and an XDR primer.
