Everyone is Guilty, No One is Guilty
I think that the free association of guilt with cyberattacks with little to no evidence is dangerous.  Especially with the capacity of today's cyber-elite to mimic almost any originating source, governments must be more responsible with accusations.  In addition, we are not so naive as to think all governments are not guilty of politically motivated cyberattacks.  If not guilty today, guilty tomorrow.  Just as the Cold War set the tone for a new style of warfare, so has the Cyber War set another tone for political strategy.  We tire of it, but it is a reality.  So to the political spinners, keep us out of it.  Unless you have irrefutable proof, no one is guilty.  By pointing fingers and insisting on guilt you risk more than just a cyber war, you risk real war.   

Before this gets mistaken for a political comment, consider:  InfoSec is a business and the idea of putting customers in a secure position such that their working environments support their success is key to the success of the InfoSec industry.  However, when media leap onto stories and perpetuate government spin that points fingers in instances of cybercrime without fully subtantiated evidence, well, that simply pulls the industry down.  It's important that InfoSec leaders across the world keep to truthful narratives and not blow any particular cybercrime out of proportion, especially those involving governments.  We're good if we're simply reporting on what others are stating, but need to be clear on what is fact and what is coming from another horse's mouth.
