No fix then what?
If android devices, especially phones, have all these vulnerabilities then what is the consumer to do to protect themselves? Disable the apps? Some look like core processes that can't be shut down. Does trend micro, who identified one of the problems, security app shield android? Others?

Android the WIndows mobile counterpart
It seems that android phones are quickly becoming the "Windows" devices of the mobile world. Many different manufacturers produce them and they are a bulk of the mobile environment. The discrepancy is not to the point where Android vs. Apple has a major discrepancy of attacks launched against each respective environment.

Also, I understand there is a Windows phone...but honestly how many people, that don't work for Microsoft, do you know who owns a Windows phone?

Improving Enterprise Cybersecurity With XDR
Enterprises are looking at eXtended Detection and Response technologies to improve their abilities to detect, and respond to, threats. While endpoint detection and response is not new to enterprise security, organizations have to improve network visibility, expand data collection and expand threat hunting capabilites if they want their XDR deployments to succeed. This issue of Tech Insights also includes: a market overview for XDR from Omdia, questions to ask before deploying XDR, and an XDR primer.
