The TAO unit made an error, their intent was to implant a malware in the Syrian system to hijack the traffic and spy on their Government.

The incident represented a serious risk for US

Hey Pierluigi! Thanks for sharing that link. Interesting that the headline says NSA "accidently" caused the Syrian Internet blackout. I'm not sure whether it's scarier if they did it on purpose or by mistake.

I'm not surprised ... what we know it is just the tip of the iceberg ... and don't forget that NSA isn't unique intelligence that use technology to monitor communications and Internet access worldwide.
