Currently, there are no incentives offered by the company to stay on top of the industry.  The true driving factor for our team is individual drive.  The reasoning is simple, mostly we want to learn the latest and greatest but also because we know if we don't, we will be unable to perform our duties effectively.

Thanks for sharing that, @robert. How does your existing staff stay on top of security technologies and trends? Is it something individuals undertake on their own, or does your company offer incentives.

Mixed bag
My company is slightly understaffed and we do not have budget to add more people. However, the people we have are extremely knowledgable and qualified.  The major problem we run into is budget to purchase new security technologies and training on the newest technology and threats.
