Re: New Look -- forums
Great question @jaingverda! You can absolutely create your own discussion thread. But it's not very intuitive! There the link to start your own blog or discussion board topic.

To navigate to Start-a-Board:

On the home page, under "Current Conversations," scroll to the end

>Go to "More Conversations."

>Hit "Start a Board," and write a personal commentary on a hot-button topic of your choosing.

I'll be looking for your post!

New Look
So far I am loving the new look of the site and interactions with the story authors. But I did have one question about the site moving forward. I have done a fair amount of research into trying to find sites like this and the one thing I consestantly see is a lack of forum boards. I was wondering if Dark Reading was thinking about implementing those, so new people like myself can ask questions that might not be directly related to the stories being posted but get help in getting kick started in the right direction?

The Year in Security: 2019
This Tech Digest provides a wrap up and overview of the year's top cybersecurity news stories. It was a year of new twists on old threats, with fears of another WannaCry-type worm and of a possible botnet army of Wi-Fi routers. But 2019 also underscored the risk of firmware and trusted security tools harboring dangerous holes that cybercriminals and nation-state hackers could readily abuse. Read more.
