PRESS RELEASE

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn.—(Sept. 15, 2015)—Entrust Datacard today announced the most recent release of the Datacard® TruCredential™ Suite Software, version 7.1. TruCredential software is used to issue a variety of credentials such as student, faculty or visitor IDs; employee or contract badges; patient and staff healthcare IDs; credentials for local government programs; membership and customer loyalty cards; and transit passes.

The previously released TruCredential Software was developed by integrating existing Datacard global software credentialing products into one modernized platform and the 7.1 upgrade continues to optimize the software with enhancements that provide for easier set-up configuration, which include:

Additional pre-built workflows for enrollment, credential issuance, and credential management. The pre-built workflows save users time by eliminating the need to create their own workflows and allows them to quickly be up and running with limited support from in-house technology resources.

Integrated smart card personalization support. Users now have access to pre-built encoding support for leading smart cards, making card personalization and troubleshooting easier.

Updated data and enrollment capture capabilities for capturing physical and logical cardholder data, which allows for more easily establishing a trusted identity.

“For most organizations, the ability to positively identify employees, students and visitors serves as the foundation for effective physical security – which requires a flexible, web-based, secure credential solution,” said Ryan Zlockie, vice president of software product management for Entrust Datacard. “We are pleased to offer a complete software suite that can support both desktop and enterprise ID issuance capabilities within a single software technology platform.”

The Datacard TruCredential Software is available in multiple editions and is compatible with a wide array of Datacard® printers and third-party technologies, thereby allowing organizations to easily scale from a single to a multiple user/workstation environment or an enterprise-wide application without increasing complexity.
